Western PA Man Convicted For Fake 'Kidnapping For Drugs' Plot: DA A McKean County man was convicted on Friday, Aug. 23 in a fake "kidnapping for drugs" plot, authorities said. The unidentified teen walked away from his group home in Warminster, police said. The date and time he disappeared was not shared. Woman Killed In Suspicious Philly House Fire A woman was killed overnight in a suspicious house fire in Philadelphia, authorities said. On Friday, Aug. 23, at about 4:30 a.m., the Philadelphia Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a fire, people trapped on the 1800 block of East Russell Street, in the Harrowgate section of Philadelphia. Incapacitated Rideshare Passenger Sexually Assaulted By Driver In Luzerne County: PSP A 39-year-old Lyft rideshare driver is accused of sexually assaulting a passenger who was incapacitated by an inhalant in Luzerne County, authorities said.
