Alex, we recommend you run the RCA Line Out Converter after the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado amp to get a strong signal. Hope this helps. Good luck with your 2008 Chevrolet Silverado line out converter installation.

Does the line converter go right after the stereo before the amp or after the amp and speaker?

I am looking to hook up an amplifier to my current stereo using the factory head unit. I have an 08′ Silverado with the Bose stereo in it. I need to know which wires under the center console I can tap into to get sound to my amp for the “line in” I found the remote wire but I’m not sure what color wires I need to tap into for sound.

Joshua, simply use either the left rear or right rear speaker wires as an audio source for your line out converter. Then plug in one end of your RCA cables into the line out converter and the other end into your car amplifier. Hope this helps. Good luck with your amplifier install.
